Want to learn how to look at a piece of music and sing what you see?
Starting August 19th, we’ll be offering a 14-week sight-singing course for our church family. The weekly 45-minute class (Wednesdays, 5:30-6:15p) will focus on the foundations of sight-singing: rhythm, pitches, and intervals.
Unlike last the music theory course offered last year, course instruction will not focus primarily on concepts, but on mastery of specific, practical skills related to music-reading. By the end of this class, students should be able to independently sight-sing music at an intermediate level. The class text will be provided by the instructor and is included in the $50 tuition.
