We’re pleased to announce a new series of brief video tutorials for the djembe. We’ve found it to be a great fit for percussion in our acoustic sets, and we’re hoping to train several more folks in our ministry to be able to play it in corporate worship.
There are nine videos in all: two are posted already, and the other seven are currently being edited. We chose songs that represented a variety of tempos and meters. The tutorials are nothing complex, but they give a helpful breakdown of how a djembe player can think about kick, snare, and high hat.
