Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf, hymnwriter and Moravian bishop
Here’s a new setting of “Jesus, Your Blood and Righteousness” that we’ve been singing in our corporate gathering for the past month. It’s set to the tune HURSLEY and arranged for rhythm, violin, and cello. There are also hymnal-style vocal parts in F that mostly match the harmonies on the lead sheet. There are lead sheets in D and E-flat, but with a capo the hymn can be sung comfortably as high as F.
A live recording will be available soon!
