For our Good Friday service this year, our music ministry will be performing Seven Last Words, a new extended work for soloists, choir, and chamber orchestra.
The libretto is based on selections from the four gospels, as well as two hymns: “Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted” (presented as a series of congregational responses) and “What Wondrous Love is This, O My Soul.”
