If You Will Let the Father Guide You

VERSE 1:
If you will let the Father guide you,
And hope in Him through all your ways,
Whatever comes, He stands beside you,
bearing you through the evil days;
Who trusts in God’s unchanging love
Builds on the Rock that cannot move.

VERSE 2:
Settle your heart and wait His leading
Cheerful in hope, with heart content
taking whatever His good pleasure
And His discerning love have sent;
Confident all your prayers are known
To Him Who chose you for His own.

VERSE 3:
Sing as your feet pursue His pathway,
labor to keep your conscience true;
Trust in His promises of blessing,
So shall they be fulfilled in you;
God hears the call of those in need,
Children who trust in Him indeed.
