View Lyrics
The righteous treads the paths of light,
his way is pleasing in God's sight;
established it shall stand.
He shall not perish, though he fall;
the mighty Ruler over all
upholds him with His hand.

Though I was young and now am old,
no saint forsaken I behold,
nor see his home in need.
He shares his wealth in gracious ways;
his life abundant love displays,
his home is blest indeed.

Depart from evil, seek for good,
and you shall stand, as others stood;
Jehovah loves the just.
His faithfulness His saints have proved;
the godly ones He keeps, unmoved,
who in their Savior trust.

The righteous, through His gracious hand,
shall yet inherit all the land
and dwell for all their days;
they speak of wisdom and of right,
in God's pure law is their delight,
their steps will never stray.
