When morning lights the eastern skies,
show me Your steadfast love;
on You alone my hope is fixed,
in You I live and move.
Teach me the way that I should go;
I lift my soul to You;
deliver me from every foe,
my Refuge strong and true.
You are my God; to You I pray;
teach me Your will to heed;
and in the right and perfect way
Your guiding Spirit lead.
For Your name's sake, O gracious Lord,
revive my soul and bless,
and in Your faithfulness and love
redeem me from distress.
show me Your steadfast love;
on You alone my hope is fixed,
in You I live and move.
Teach me the way that I should go;
I lift my soul to You;
deliver me from every foe,
my Refuge strong and true.
You are my God; to You I pray;
teach me Your will to heed;
and in the right and perfect way
Your guiding Spirit lead.
For Your name's sake, O gracious Lord,
revive my soul and bless,
and in Your faithfulness and love
redeem me from distress.
