You Are the Holy Lord

VERSE 1:
You are the holy Lord, exalted on Your throne;
You rule unrivaled, sovereign King of kings alone!
Transcendent God, Eternal Light, in glory hidden from our sight.

VERSE 2:
We once were dead in sin, rebellious and enslaved;
our darkened minds pursued the idols that we craved.
Forgiving God, our filth remove; restore our hearts to worship You!

VERSE 3:
Your all sufficient Word our sole authority;
with joy our hearts submit to every word You breathed.
Your holy truth supplies our needs, equips, prepares us for good deeds.

VERSE 4:
We're called out from the world to be a chosen race,
the pillar and support of truth in every place.
Preserving God, we will proclaim the saving pow'r of Jesus' name!
